A parenthesis full of nuggets

The break I took opened my eyes  to new findings.  I guess I needed it to catch my breath, or better said: reflect. And during that time I remembered why I even made this blog and quite frankly it was not to 'Improve' or motivate others, but that's another story. Right now I want to share what I learned during this break and if I have time, (and stay away form lengthy breaks) I will dedicate a post to some of them. But without any further ado, here are the nuggets I got. Cheers!
  • There is a solution to everything, that is, if you elaborate
  • What I want from life and how to discover what you do
  • How to get the best out of arguments and have an objective and thus unbiased view
  • Proved that  we can all get what we want and that nothing is impossible
  • You choose how something affects you, it's all in one's mind
  • And not to make promises that involve the future
Finally, I want to thank everyone that has kindly taken their precious time to comment.I want to take that into account because that's one of the 3 main reasons I returned, the other ones being improving my blogging skills and motivating others so they can thrive happily.

Ways to get inspired

Sometimes we need some inspiration (or always). That inspiration becomes motivation. Inspiration motivates us and invites us to our creative side.Yes, it does work for me when I don't know what to write about! So today I am going to tell you how to get inspired.
Ok, so we all know the powers of music , right?Started with an obvious, but there is much to it than just listening to it, indeed.
The procedure is simple; you just listen and relax and voila! Yep, but you have to let the music flow and create images like beautiful scenes in your mind. Like they say: go with the music!
Now let's talk about poems. Poems do indeed have a flow that inspires us. They truly have a row in inspiration. In fact, you need inspiration to write one in the first place! Poems can have inspirational messages, rhymes etc., yet to make it more interesting light up a candle and read the poem out loud. Make sure it's a scented candle. That will be an awesome experience ( yes it's the environment!)!
Go in an adventure in a tent! Oh yeah how interesting a tent. I'm 100% serious as if I were in a meeting. Yes, grab that mystery novel.  Grab that real page turner, but just focus in the story and nothing else and relax in your tent!
Here goes the ones that you must not really think, well just like the other ones, but the other idea is to relax you!You can let images pop in your mind, or you can just, well, think about absolutely nothing; you can let your brain blank (at last!).
 1. Doodle.Yeah doodle, just doodle, no fancy elegant drawings necessary because you will not be judged!
There a study that actually shows it increase imagination! So no more thinking that I have lost a screw!
 2. Walk with no point
yes, and this one also makes you exercise. When have you heard you can relax and burn some calories in this way you sure can!In this one you can leave your head blank, freely letting images pop into your head, or even focusing in the scene (just make sure it's a safe place.)
One last thing: here is a little tip: Plan a day in which you will be doing these activities, that way you won't have to worry about anything. No chores, no thinking.Plan what you are going to eat and everything.

What is really in pet food?

Ads, fake statements, colorful packages, perhaps that's what makes us buy a certain pet food, yet when it comes to a healthy choice, we need to look more carefully. A lot of pet foods, especially as dog and cat -claim to be real healthy. However, they may just be tricking you to buy their product.
Though pet food companies can over exaggerate, they cannot make fake claims about their food. This is thanks to the AAFCO or Association of American Feed Control Officials."The use of terms "all" or "100%" cannot be used if the product contains more than 1 ingredient, not including water," according to bornfeeusa.com. This means it cannot be labeled 100% chicken if it really isn't. Another regulation of the AAFCO, is that pet-food companies can't label their food "complete and balanced" if the food is not approved by them.
The AAFCO regulates the food, but it does not actually tell if the food is nutritional for your pet. So what you might like to do is simply pick a food approved by them, and make sure the food is appropriate for your pet's life stage.Another simple thing you can do is smell the dog food. If it has a pungent odor, it has been sprayed with fats not healthy for your pet. Probably the most important part of all, is to check the guaranteed analysis and see if it provides the amount of  nutrient value your dog/cat needs according to breed, age, weight and other special needs.
So what is really in pet food? The most common ingredients are glucose, corn, preservatives and by-products. Corn is a filler protein source but may not be tolerated by some pets. Preservatives such as BHA and BHT  are used to make the food last longer."Some consumers avoid them because they believe they're toxic", stated woodhavenlabs.com . These people usually try to substitute these with Vitamin E and C. By-products can sound gross, but can be real healthy for your pet. They consist of animal left-overs like spleen, lungs, intestines, brains, kidneys and liver.
Pet food can be a little complex, but with the help of the AAFCO, and some further research like contacting the food company or asking your vet for suggestions, you can choose the adequate food for your pet.

Blank Dreaming

My brain went blank
the lights were out
they were off
I could not dream
I was blank
and felt so dull

Until now I realize
that I hear, feel, and see
The gold, the castle and seas
as long as I may believe
but how may I, how can I
No, I cannot
I am blank
and feel so dull

It seems impossible
but can it be
It was such a sense of good
I thought I had it
I thought I believed it
It was just too good to be true

I hear something
or is it my imagination
No, I think I really do
It whispers something
I am thinking about it
and realize, I believe
that to dream
you must imagine and believe
Zzzz Zzzz Zzzz Zzzz Zzzz

Believe, imagine, dream.

Good Advice

We all need good advice once in a while because we don't know everything, hence
"A fool thinks himself to be wise, but a wise man knows himself to be a fool"-William Shakespeare
Asking for help is nothing to be embarrassed or ashamed of.In fact, we all need a therapist check-up.You might have a not so serious or treatable disorder such as depression, anxiety, fatigue or hoarding disorder. Not only that, but you may have family problems. Therapist are always there to help you.
  Where to get advice
If you have social anxiety, there are a lot of programs out there that can assist you. It is advisable  that you know the root of your social anxiety or whatever you are dealing with first, so you help your helper.
A good program for social anxiety is Toastmasters.org If you just want to get motivated to succeed in life, I advise lifecoach.com, their consultants are there to help you discover your full potential (and I've added the link at the right).
 What advice to take
A good piece of advice is to take advice.Yes, it really is, but how to tell right from wrong advice? Well, according to Socrates "Whenever any of us does something for our own gain or benefit which is at the expense of someone else, something that does harm to an innocent person, I think there is something innate and intuitive in us that tells us it is wrong."

So really take advice, advice helps you.Always welcome good advice, and as always feel free to visit me here at lifeglaze.blogspot.com for more motivation and reccommendations!

GO!

0 times 0 is 0. You get what I am saying? Nothing and Nothing is Nothing. That means that if you do not do nothing, nothing will happen at all. Set your objective and don't stop till you get it.
You can want anything, and try to get anything, but play clean.Fight for what you want, and want what you want and play nice and smooth.
Brainstorm your plan, and figure it out. Whatever it is GET OFF THE COUCH and do it!
I remember I wanted an apple tree, but I thought it would take a long time to grow, so I never planted it. Well guess what right now it would be blooming with apples. As they say, it's never too early!
