It's April, which means that it's strawberry season. Strawberries are such an interesting fruit, that's why I am so happy they're in season.So here is some useful info.

Strawberries can lower the risk of developing some cancers and lower blood pressure. These berries are high in vitamin C, and just 8 of them contain as much of this vitamin as an orange.They are a beauty friend because they contain antioxidants for healthy, radiant skin.Strawberries aren't a great source of protein but bananas are.So you can combine strawberries and bananas in a smoothie!

strawberry mask recipe:
Mash strawberries in a bowl (not too watery) and add the honey.Apply to face for 15-20 minutes. Then wash your face with hot water then with cold for a better result. Finally, pat gently with a towel.

- make some jam and put it inside a pretty jar ad put a ribbon around the jar's cap.

Strawberry tips
- Get plump, fully red strawberries
- Buy organic strawberries, as non-organic contain pesticides (for their thin edible peel)
- freeze your berries to get the most health benefits out of them by washing and putting them in a plastic bag. Then put the bag in the freezer!
