The importance of staying focused

Everyday, at every moment, you should be focused on the activity you are performing. Many people are doing something but they are being distracted. For example, sometimes we open and read a book, but in our minds we are thinking about something completely different, which makes us not knowing what we just read, or when we have conversations.
 Staying focused can be a little hard for day-dreamers-like me- to achieve, but is very important. It is common for people to confuse insomnia with day-dreaming when they go to sleep. Also, when you eat in front of your T.V., you are more likely to eat more than usual, resulting in weight gain.Or how about when your  friend is talking to you, and you are being distracted? That's not very nice. Being distracted is not good.
 In other cases, distraction can be fatal, as it can cause a car accident. Imagine you were texting or talking on the your cell-phone when a car hits you. We don't want that to happen, so stay focused and alert.
 As you can see, staying focused and alert is very essential, and can also improve your lifestyle.
